MorseLife Health System Remembers on Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day

In what is observed as Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom HaShoah in Hebrew, MorseLife Health System took a moment to remember those who perished during the Holocaust. Residents and interested members of the MorseLife Health System community were invited to view a special video that included stories from resident Survivors along with images from Israel, where citizens took a minute out of their busy lives to reflect and remember.

“MorseLife continues to help impoverished Survivors receive a lifeline of care through the NOW for Holocaust Survivors campaign we launched in December,” said President and CEO Keith Myers.  “The Survivors we pledged to help are uniquely vulnerable to the impacts of COVID-19. Many live in isolation without adequate food, medical care, companionship, transportation and other essentials. Helping them survive the pandemic is a moral obligation and we are doing whatever we can.”
